What is Connecticut History Day?
An affiliate program of National History Day®, Connecticut History Day (CHD) is a Connecticut Democracy Center program in residence at Connecticut’s Old State House. CHD annually engages thousands of middle- and high-school students in historical research, interpretation, and creative expression through project-based learning. Partnership support has been provided to CTDC from CT Humanities (CTH), with additional support from the Upper Housatonic Valley National Heritage Area. Program support is also received from the New Haven Museum and the Franklin Foundation.
