State Contest
State Contest
Students who finish in the top four at one of the five Regional Contests are invited to the State Contest. Students are encouraged to improve their projects based on feedback received from judges at the Regional Contests. History Day is an ongoing program, which encourages students to continually expand their learning as they progress through the contest season.
The Connecticut History Day State Contest features, in addition to Category prizes for First, Second, and Third place, several Special Prizes. A list of the Special Prizes available for this contest year can be found here.
The 2025 Connecticut History Day State Contest will be held on May 3, 2025 at Central Connecticut State University.
